Watching the bushfire devastation throughout Australia earlier this year deeply touched us as a band.  And so this concert was our way of doing something to help make a difference locally – firstly for those people and businesses who suffered so much loss and secondly, to say thanks to those brave men and women who fought valiantly out there on the fire fronts, some of whom are here as our guests tonight.

A fantastic audience of over 150 people attended the contert in the Vogue Theatre, and we would like to especially thank the Adelaide Revival Fellowship who generously donated its use tonight at no cost to us.  We would also like to acknowledge Myra and Althea who donated the scrumptious home baked supper which was enjoyed by everyone.  Our thanks also to the donors of Raffle Prizes, and to those who have helped behind the scenes to help make tonight a success. A special raffle prize was a lovely apron made by local Edwardstown Lions Club member Mrs Welsch which appropriately included firemen and firetrucks in the design.

The concert raised nearly $3000 with all proceeds going to the KI Mayoral Relief and Recovery Bushfire Fund. Thanks to band member Brenton Miegel for the idea of this concert, and getting the ball rolling!
